JULIEN ALBERTINI | Principal

Julien’s design style is highly inspired by nature and the natural environments surrounding each project. He believes that a space should sooth ones’ senses while achieving its prime functionality. Nature has so many scenes with an abundance of various elements and even with all of the natural entropy in ones’ perspective, nature still finds a way to be picturesque. It’s the harmony of distinctive elements.

Julien Albertini has been pivotal in broadening Asthetíque Group’s multidisciplinary practice. With over 10 years of design and construction experience, Julien has complied a strong list of clients from Calvin Klein and DKNY to 1 Hotels and Silverstein Properties. This spectrum of his experience includes base building design, building renovations, residential design, as well as hospitality and retail developments.

Julien believes in and promotes a holistic design approach to shape a strong user experience. His broad design and construction background, intuitive understanding of consumer tastes and ability to incorporate environmental, architectural, and graphic design solutions helps Asthetique create projects that are as cohesive as they are comprehensive.

 

ALINA PIMKINA MEHRLE | Principal

Alina was born in a family of hereditary artists and grew up in an atmosphere of creativity and freedom. Whether at home with family, travelling, or dining with friends, Alina’s creativity is fueled by the world around her. She brings energy and worldly inspiration to every project.

Before moving to New York, Alina reached the pinnacle of the design industry in Russia, where she founded a full-service hospitality design company after serving as the Creative Director for the leading restaurant developer in Russia. Throughout her career, which also includes time as an Art Director at BBDO and MTV, Alina has worked closely with project owners, investors, and partners, including Mercedes, Nike, MasterCard, and IKEA.

Alina believes interior design should be a process that brings joy to everyone. Her projects share in our rigour to challenge the norm and to deliver something truly visionary. Ideas come from everywhere and they are best when they result from exchange and dialogue; often from people of different cultures and backgrounds.
